Return & Refund Policy

At LUMEE, we want you to be completely happy. You're covered by three cumulative protections: our 30-day satisfaction guarantee, your 14-day legal right of withdrawal, and the legal guarantee of conformity.

1. LUMEE Satisfaction Guarantee: 30 days, even on opened products

You can try LUMEE risk-free. If, after using it, you're not happy with the results:

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a refund.
This guarantee applies even if the product has been opened and used.
It covers one (1) opened unit per order. Any other units must be unopened to be refunded.
You'll be refunded the price of the product(s). Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
It applies to all products and sets (Bronzing Body Lotion, Tan Mitt, Exfoliating Mitt, Face Exfoliating Mitt, LUMEE Hair Clips, The Essential Kit, The Complete Ritual, The LUMEE Set), including items bought on sale or with a discount code.
To use it: email us at contact@lumeetan.com within 30 days with your order number and the reason for your request. We'll send you the steps to follow and the return address.

2. Legal right of withdrawal: 14 days

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason.

To exercise it, let us know your decision with a clear and unambiguous statement (by email to contact@lumeetan.com, or by using the model withdrawal form below).
You must send the products back no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
We'll refund all amounts paid, including standard shipping costs, no later than 14 days after being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or until you have provided proof that you shipped them.
The refund is issued to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).
Exception: hygiene. In accordance with Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to cosmetic products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Unsealed cosmetics are therefore covered by our 30-day satisfaction guarantee (section 1), not by the legal right of withdrawal.

3. Legal guarantee of conformity: 2 years

Independently of the points above, you're covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and by the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). If a product is defective, not as described, or damaged, contact us: the return and refund, or the replacement, are fully covered by LUMEE.

4. Return process

Email contact@lumeetan.com with your order number, the reason for your return, and photos of the product and its packaging.
Once your return is approved, we'll send you the return address. Please don't send anything back without prior approval: a package returned without approval cannot be processed.
Send the package back within the time frames stated above.
Once we've received and inspected it, we'll confirm your refund by email.

5. Refunds

Issued to the original payment method, within a few business days after we receive and inspect the return.
Satisfaction guarantee: the price of the product, excluding return shipping costs.
Legal withdrawal: all amounts paid, including standard shipping costs.

6. Non-returnable items

Gift cards.
Personalized or made-to-order products.
Any additional unsealed cosmetics beyond the one opened unit covered by the satisfaction guarantee.

7. Skin reactions

The full ingredient list (INCI) is available before purchase on every product page. If you experience a reaction, stop using the product and contact us: we'll help you through it. This does not affect your legal guarantees if the product is defective or not as described.
